Mike and surprise guest, Stefano Bambagioni of family owned and operated winery Fossacolle, poured and discussed wines from the Piedmont and Montalcino regions of Italy-regions regarded as "The Burgundies of Italy" for their traditional methods of production and ties to the land, true expression of "terroir". Cuveé favorite wine educator Stefano Zanoncello of Carolina Wine and Spirits joins Richard this weekend. They walk, talk and pour us through four delightful French wines this weekend—a Chardonnay with Saturday night taste at a Tuesday night price, a crisp and braving Muscadet and two examples of Beaujolais Cru.
